- Sign up to Google Data Studio, sign in to each of your social media platforms and their respective add platforms.
- Visit the Data Studio Connectors page first. Check to see if the good people over at Google have an integration for your social media platform. If it is a Google service like Adwords you are in luck. there's straightforward connectors for each of these tools as well as downloadable dashboards.
- But wait..... what about Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Well, this is where it can get a bit complicated. The big G, plays nice with lots of technology. But when it comes to advertising, it doesn't want to make life easier for marketers who use other platforms. They do not provide native plugins.
Don't lose hope... you have a couple of options at your disposal. We are going to look at one of these options. Funnels.io. They offer plugins and a simple user interface for each of these channels and anything you can put in a CSV. Sign up to this service ASAP. You'll save hours every month which could add up to thousands over the course of the year if you have to spend.
